July 4th Weekend

We took the kids to see "UP"--GO SEE IT if you haven't! (I know, we're 15 minutes late to the party). If you're 5, 15, 25 or 95--this movie has THE BEST story for everyone!! Seen it? Comment and let me know what you think.

After the movie we just hung out together. Saturday we went to RiverWalk to see the fireworks. Totally cool--we watched them from the bridge until Levi fell apart, then we left. :) I think maybe next year we'll keep Bass Pro in mind...driving home they had a nice little show, and it's only a mile down the road.

We continued to celebrate the 4th through the 5th with some friends from small group at church. My husband the pyro*technic (or maniac?) "assisted" in the fireworks show at their home outside the city. I think it was our first and possibly "last" invitation to their house, considering the "fireworks incident". Our lives flashed before our lives, and we're thankful to see another year of fireworks. :)

Aside from July 4th, we may have an evenaglelist. While holding Zoe today, Mia asked her "Did you ask Jesus in to your heart? Then let's get BATHtized!" She'll be helping "All Dogs Go To Heaven".
