"millions of peaches, peaches for me"

I started this post last weekend, and just now finishing it. Kyle's parents came in to town from LA last weekend and we had so much fun! Saturday we went to the Porter Peach Festival. It was something. Kids enjoyed the rides, but we never got the peaches. First, if you're going to a "peach fesitval" near the orchards, would it be safe to assume you would think you would get to pick your peach at the orchard? IF you thought that, you would be wrong. First, you would go to the peach festival 8 miles from the orchards where you would walk miles and miles -- ok, so maybe blocks & blocks (6-7 to be more precise) to the "festival" of rides, carni food, etc. THEN you would walk those 6-7 blocks back to the car to drive the 7 miles to the "orchards" where you didn't pick your own, but stand in line for 2 hours to get your prepricked peaches in a warehouse at the orchard. And hypothetically, you might accidentally run over a beaver that darted out in front of you and make the trip even worse, hypothetically speaking of course. Here are just some pix from last weekend.

Ridin' the rides...brothers weren't as adventurous...

Konnor won at the slammer (though Daddy didn't do so hot...)
Carni food - the giant corn dog
Me got an angel halo
We would like Levi to be in more pictures, he's just usually to grumpy to participate...

Kyle found this hat at the fair and insisted I have it...hmmm...

We ended the weekend with Nana & Papa treating us to Incredible Pizza. Sunday night is the way to do it because you can get a $5 game pass/per person and we did bowling, mini golfing, bumper cars, race cars and had a blast with them! Here's Konnor reading his put...

I LOVE his form...
This was how Levi played golf (putting, then placeing the ball in the hole)

What a fun weekend!
