White Christmas!

We were blessed with a White Christmas this year - and the 3rd blizzard in the last 100 yrs. in OK. So we spent Christmas day and over the weekend sledding at the B.A. hill. We had a blast!

I wanted a pic of the 3 kids in the snow, but Levi wanted none of that, so he "ran away" from the picture. Oh, what he doesn't know....

So pic by pic, here's the breakdown of our sledding weekend in pictures. Konnor led the way up the hill, with Daddy pulling the littles behind. Daddy in his daddiness excitement, forgetting these are little kids sledding for the first time in their short lives, put the 2 littles on the sled and and PUSHED them DOWN the hill - not knowing what they were sledding themselves into. You can see Mia in pic3 standing up, crying in her sassiness, "I did NOT enjoy that!" We moved on, Daddy took them down next and she had a blast - even wiping out (as you can see). Daddy and Konnor were almost too quick to get a pic of them - they went down the BIG hill. There was a bigger, longer hill for the older kids or less fearful, and smaller hill for the little kids or less brave. Mia did finally decide to go down the little hill by herself, with a little help (push) from big Bubba. She walked the sled back up the hill herself yelling "THAT WAS FUN!" We all took turns, but Kyle took the kids down mostly while I took pix. You gotta zoom in on Levi's face (pic, 2nd row, 2nd from right) - first time he got to sled down in front. He did OK. Mommy joined in the fun, then Kon & Mia went down together. Chewy even got to go and was like a puppy again - he grew up in CO-this is his kind of weather! Levi finally got tired of it, falling down in the snow crying "I WANNA GO TO DUH CAR!'" Sissy ended up with a couple of war wounds on her cheek. All in all, we had a blast with no major injuries. Kyle and I are trying to ignore the fact that we are probably too old to be sledding - with our sore necks, shoulders and backs - but will do it again the next snow storm!
