COLORADO - "DAT AWE-SUMM"!!

Wow, have we enjoyed our trip to CO!! Friday we set out to play in the mountains, but it was cold, rainy and Levi ended up with altitude sickness. Poor baby. So we just enjoyed time with the family, and then went for a little drive.

Saturday, it let up for a little while and he was better so we enjoyed "Frontier Days" in historic Colorado City. My sister and brother in law now live in a cute little loft in the heart of this beautiful historic area of COS, so it was jut a quick walk down to the fun. We enjoyed all the fun of street fairs - face painting, music, carousel/pony rides, "interesting people", and food on a stick of course. :)






We got to enjoy fresh mountain air on our hike through Garden of the gods. Lil dude had no problem running and jumping through the rocks, twists and turns of the trail yelling "Dat AWE-SUMM!" pointing to all the BIG mountains! By the way, we missed Levi in some pix because most pictures of him were just a blur of him whizzing by, or being too busy to stand still for a pic.




Like the rain drop on the camera lens on this one? It was rainy and cloudy the majority of the trip, but the mountains were still breathtaking.

We've had fun, but time to head back!
