We had a super fun day today! We enjoyed the day with friends from small group Ohmygoodness, we are so tired. Our friends help run a campground, and so thankful they invited our small group out to enjoy the amenities!!
Some friends brought their boat, so we went out on the lake with them also. Mia even went on the tube with Daddy - her first time on the lake - and had a blast. She was a little concerned about the sharks in the water, but we assured her there are no sharks in Ft. Gibson. Konnor "..didn't want to get fish up his pants", so he just enjoyed the ride on the boat. And to my dismay, just as we got on the boat my camera batteries DIED!! NO WARNING!! BUT--I did have extra batteries -- they were just out in the van. Far from the lake and the boat. Oh well--we had fun, just nothing to capture the fun with. :) "Well, I guess I should have brought my floaty"...is a quote from my Mia after seeing the people in the lake--more of a 'you had to be there' kind of moment, but her delivery and attitude were so funny.
At the pool, we enjoyed the water slide. We spent the afternoon trying to convince our cautious Konnor - a.k.a. "Scuba Steve" to go down the slide...
...but he was content to stay near the side of the pool. Then, Mommy finally went down the slide. THEN Konnor tried it, and didn't leave the slide the rest of the evening.
We're thankful we ended the week/or started a new week on such a great note! The past week we all "shared"/took turns with the stomach virus - at least one of us had it a day this week, except for lucky Konnor. We're so glad to be on the upswing!!
On another note, Levi is doing very well on potty training--he stays dry most days, but our biggest challenge is for him to go #2 in the toilet. He'll get there! He loves to wear his Diego underwear, he just insists the BIG picture go in the front.

And of course our good friend Chewbacca--one of the best dogs EVER on the planet.
It is such a relief to know that my son is not the only one who wears his underwear backwards!! On another note, what program do you use to make your collages?
